Spin 1.0 Release Candidate - Community Bug Bash

The Spin 1.0 release candidate is now available and ready for testing. We are passionate about using community feedback to make Spin an even better experience for building applications. We would like to invite everyone to participate in our Community Bug Bash!

Over the past several months, we’ve been working hard releasing frequent updates to Spin with new features like key-value storage, OCI registry support, and more. We are nearing the finish line for Spin 1.0 with a strong focus on ensuring the spin new -> spin build -> spin up experience is seamless and reliable so you can build and run Spin applications with complete confidence.

Just recently, we published a release candidate for Spin 1.0 and would greatly appreciate your help testing it. Starting today and running through March 14th, we will be having a Community Bug Bash. If you haven’t tried Spin yet, now is the perfect time to get started! You can follow our Getting Started guide to spin up your first Spin application in just a few minutes. If you have built apps with Spin in the past, we would love for you to test your work with the new release. To thank you for taking the time to test with us, we will send Spin t-shirts to those who provide feedback. Fill out the form to receive yours!

We are excited to hear from you! If you have any questions or run into any issues, you can get in touch with us on our Discord Server or report bugs in our GitHub repo. Also, please take a moment to fill out the Spin survey.
